Friday 2nd November was the day I was being induced to high blood pressure at 39w and 6days.

I went in at 3pm and the ball got rolling straight away, I was out straight on the monitor to check baby was happy, 4pm I had the foley bulb ballon inserted which would help me get to 3-4cm that was left in over night until 6am- I had mild cramping but nothing I couldn’t really handle.

7am comes around and they take out the foley bulb and check my cervix I’m 3cm dilated 🙌🏼🙌🏼

The midwife attempted to break my waters but she said the baby’s head is probably acting like a plug stopping the water coming out lol. 20mins bouncing on the ball my waters gushed 😂😂

Next I am put on the drip 7:30 and within 20 mins I started to contract 😬😬 midwife ran a bath for me. The contractions were coming on think and fast and I asked for some gas, an hour passed and I was in the bath and they just kept coming stronger and faster and I felt like I needed to push!! Midwife checked me and I was at 10cm!! Midwife said if I felt like I wanted to push then I could so I pushed a few times. I feet like I wanted to get out so I moved over to the bed at this point the contractions were so so painful but I was breathing through them with my gas, pressure started on my bum and I was pushing with everything I had after about an hour of pushing my little baby boy was here!! I can’t believe I only done it with gas 🙌🏼🙌🏼 My beautiful baby boy Joey was born 11:17am.
