I honestly find it a ridiculous thing to do. If it's just that you happen to like the name that a celebrity has then ok, but just because I like Keanu Reeves, I'm not gonna name my kid Keanu ....a person who doesn't even know I exist lol

My son is Carter, which we specifically got from Johnny Cash’s wife, June Carter. Music has had a huge impact on both of our lives (and we originally became friends because we had the same music taste). My husband is a huge Johnny Cash fan, and originally wanted to name him Cash, but I didn’t like it with our last name. So I suggested Carter.

One of my sons name is Xander after vin diesels character is XXX. One of my daughters names is Harley after Harley Quinn. If we have another boy his middle name will be Dominic from  the fast and the furious.

My oldest daughter is Ella, which I always loved but for some reason loved even more after hearing “Ella Bleu”, which is John Travolta’s little girl. She isn’t named after her but her name definitely helped me love it more.

We've named all our animals after characters or celebrities and we don't know what we're having yet but if it's a girl the name we like is another character name. My husband suggested it and I fell in love just before realizing where he got the name. If it's a boy the name we like is one that I suggested and hubby says there's a character in a show with the same name but I don't watch it, I just picked the name from a list because I liked it. 🤷‍♀️
