Just took an ovulation test bc I ran out of pregnancy test idk how accurate it is but 2 days until af. I know there is always some lh in my system but just curious

It is possible because the lh strips cannot determine if its hcg or lh its detecting whereas a pregnancy test only searches for hcg. However it wouldnt be positive unless the lh strip is dark like it would be during ovulation and you would still need confirmation from a pregnancy test.

You can have high lh levels when pregnant but that wouldn’t happen until after an hpt shows positive and it would show as a VERY dark positive on the opk. What you have is just a negative ovulation test, that’s how mine look all the time unless I’m ovulating. Only way to know anything for sure is to take a pregnancy test.

it’s hit or miss honestly but this test is not positive. this was mine before and after getting a positive pregnancy test

day 55 is what prompted me to test on day 56. the /17-/25 is because i had a 3 day weird light period and didn’t know whether to count it as a new cycle and is actually what the doctors are going by. so i got my positive on CD31 i hope this helps!
