Is there still hope?

I went in for my 8 week checkup (I’m 8 weeks 4 days) and they couldn’t find or see a heartbeat with any of the equipment (Doppler, outside stomach u/s, and vaginal wand). They said the baby was measuring right where it should be, so the loss must have happened really recently.

I’ve noticed a huge letup in my symptoms everyday for the past week, but no cramping or bleeding. My insane nausea is gone.

Do you think there’s still a chance that they just couldn’t find the heartbeat, and the baby is okay?
