UTI causing contractions?

I was having contractions today (28 weeks) so I went to the doctor. They did an NST and picked up small contractions but I also had blood in my urine meaning I have a UTI. The UTI may or may not be what is causing the contractions. Has anyone has a UTI cause contractions and after it cleared up they went away?

Yea this happened with my first pregnancy! As soon as the UTI was clear they stopped. Hope it’s the same for you!

Happened to a friend of mine! Contractions stopped as soon as the UTI was treated.

Not personally BUT I’ve heRd that UTIs can indeed cause contractions! Hopefully they stop soon!
