What made you decide on a 3rd?

I am terrified of having a 3rd, but at the same time I totally have baby fever and feel that if I don't have a 3rd I will always think "what if" I did. My husband is on board for whatever I want. Some days I want another baby so bad and other days I'm totally overwhelmed with the 2 I already have! Is this normal? Help!

Theres a quote that sticks by me and its "You will never regret the children you have." And thats been me decided ever since. I will never regret my babies, but i know i would regret not following my heart for #3.

Me and my partner are debating a 3rd baby. We would love lots of children!! 
There’s a 6 and a half year gap between our boys. I thought it would be easier as my eldest is 7 (nearly 8) but my little 1 year old is such a handful at times! 
But I can’t help having the same feeling as you.. what if...? 
I say bite the bullet and go for it. 
Yes kids are stressful but as soon as you hold that tiny bundle in your arms you know you’ve made the right choice.

I definitely feel that choosing to try for a 3rd baby was 10x harder than when we decided to have our 1st and 2nd baby.  My two kids are 7 & 5 years old, so I’m used to getting sleep and question my sanity for wanting another baby 😂 My husband and I have gone back and forth this year but have decided to go for a 3rd because we feel that our family would be complete.  There are days I question it, but that always seems to be on the rough days with my kids...when they decide to be terrors.  Plus, when we got married, 3 kids was always our number and that still feels right to us.  Our kids have been bugging us for a baby for the last several months.  I don’t think they realize that they’ll be helping with baby duty.  If they did, they probably wouldn’t want another sibling 😂

Honestly, I feel like there is something missing. It’s just a feeling. I always said I would stop at two but after my daughter turned one I knew i just needed to have another one. Even though some days these two give me a run for my money and my husband looks like me with that are you sure look?!? Lol I am 100% sure.

I chose to try for a third because my fiancé and I want a child together,but just like you I also had thoughts of what if I don’t choose to have one more will I regret it ... my girls are much older so I definitely will have the time to focus on a newborn

I have baby fever too! And I also wonder if I’m absolutely nuts for thinking of trying for one more, but I feel like if I was done completely I wouldn’t still have babies on the brain every day! My husband isn’t against it, he’s just not sure if now is the right time! But omg they are so cute and sweet! My kids are almost 6 and almost 3, so I feel like this year I would love to get pregnant! 🤰🏻

I totally understand your feelings. I have a 7 year old and a 1 and a half year old. We are trying for 3 now too. Exactly the same as some of the other comments. It’s so daunting and I worry how ill cope with 3 school runs etc when husband is back at work etc but I just think us mums just get on with it and we will always make it work lol. I know I’ll regret it personally if I don’t. We had said we will stop after our son. Mainly because he had ear infections month after month and still doesn’t sleep though. But the other month my husband said I want another etc so we spoke about it and we left it for a bit to think about it and then decided to go for it :-) x
