tracking ovulation

how do i track my ovulation when i havent got regular periods to go by?

my doctors told me they wont give me any assistance till we’ve hit the year mark of ttc. im drained, i had my first period since coming off the depo in may, about 3/4 weeks ago, the day i was predicted to be at my “peak” of ovulation, according to the app, i began bleeding again, and i havent really stopped. it changes, one minute im spotting, then im bleeding, im at a loose end to thinking my body will be able to do this alone, as i cant track anything as when i have hope and work things out, i start bleeding again.

anyone have any advice or could share experiences?
