Late/missed period

So my app tells me I am TWELVE days late! My last period was September 26-30. I usually get my periods the last week of every month, however I have not gotten it yet & it is already the 8th of November. Just a few days ago, I started spotting, its not in my pee, nor on my underwear, it’s just when I wipe I have a brownish pinkish discharge. This happened last month also, but the very next day I had my period. But it’s been a few days with no period! I have been taking pregnancy tests, however they’re all negative. Too soon to take a test?
