So Saturday at 38 weeks exactly, I’m having to be induced. My blood pressure has been steadily increasing and today it was at an all time high. I’ve also been nauseated and vomiting and not keeping too much food down. With my first, I was scheduled for an induction but woke up that morning with contractions and was 7 cm by the time I got to the hospital. Ended up having a natural birth. This time, I’m afraid I’m going to have to rely on the pitocin. Problem is, I really don’t want an epidural if I can go without it. So my question is, have any of you mommy’s had pitocin but no epidural? How bad was it? I’d rather hear stories of all kinds so I have somewhat of an idea of what to expect..
