Does anyone use an epilators ?

I'm always intrigued by it but the idea of the pain makes me never want to . 
I wouldn't want to spend money on waxing arms and legs , I currently shave and I'm ok with it .
Just curious if anyone uses an epilators and what the experience was , if there is a brand with less pain

I tried an epilator once and I never will again. I’ve been waxed so many times everywhere and that was like a massage compared to the hell epilators put me through. Even areas that don’t hurt at all through plucking and waxing felt painful to me when using an epilator.

I use it for my underarms/legs when I don’t have time to get a wax. It’s more painful than waxing, but it does get better with time. The legs are the worst, but eventually you get numb to it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would suggest it for small areas but for larger I would try at home waxing or just go somewhere for a wax.
