I go for the blood test and sonogram at 12 weeks...said they will have the blood results with the gender 1-2 weeks later! So excited!!! We had to wait until 20 weeks with my first (8 years ago).

I was 15wks 3days when I found out I was having a baby girl but I also had to pay out of pocket for the ultrasound due to my hospital don’t do ultrasound until 20wks

My OB does an ultrasound every visit and my next appointment is around 14 weeks and he said we should definitely be able to tell then.

At 13.5 weeks i got an elective US....and it was correct! Boy!

I’m 8 weeks 5 days today. Doctor set an appointment for me for when I’m 12 weeks where I’ll get blood work done to test for Down syndrome and was told I can find out the gender at that time if I wanted to.

Only if my OB deems it necessary to get certain tests. (More than likely this time probably to check for blood clotting disorders since I bleed too easily & I’m 34) otherwise I’ll be waiting until my anatomy scan.
