What are my chances?

I'm currently 25w5d, delivered my first son via emergency csection Jan/2015, due Feb/2019 with my 2nd. I'm getting discouraged about having a vbac, my anxiety is messing me up so bad. All these "what if" can go wrong.... Any input would be great

What I did was told my doctors that just incase I don't go into labour naturally I want a section booked so I know I'm not gonna through the same mess of induction labour then emergency c. She also said they can offer to do a sweep before 40weeks tk try and get things started so I don't have to go through that (24 hours currently after a sweep and I'm contracting on and off and bleeding, think I just lost my mucus plug)
I really thought when she did the sweep yesterday she was gonna tell me worst nightmare like last time that I'm high and closed but she said you're already 1cm dilated and your cervix is really soft and favourable so I'm not worried about emergency csection anymore!!

Just go with the flow the best you can! If you really want a Vbac then all you can do is try. It may end up not working out and that's ok. I desperately want a Vbac but at 39 wks my fluid levels were dropping dangerously low and no signs of labor so I ended up having to have a repeat section anyways. And I just had my third C-section a month ago. I was a lite sad I never got to experience natural birth but it's ok.
