First timer

Hello all!

My name is Angela and my bf and I of 7 years are TTC. I came off birth control two years ago and we haven’t had any luck.

Just recently, I saw a new gyn and she brought up the suspicion of endometriosis. (At that time I was being seen for abnormal bleeding and pain.) I am beyond frustrated that I am just now trying to figure this out. I am comforted to know I’m not alone, but my heart aches not only for myself, but everyone else who has experienced this or problems TTC. Since coming off bc I have been developing ovarian cysts which have ruptured on two separate occasions. I actually just went to the ER last night for the 2nd. What’s most frustrating to me is that I just had an ultrasound down with this new gyn a month ago.

Anyway, long story short, I wanted to know if any of you had similar experiences? If you do/did have endo, what were the steps they took? The dr recommended doing an “infertility workup” but did warn it is costly. I am most concerned about the possible endo at this point (cause I’m in pain) and just wanted to know if anyone knew if this was part of the workup or a different process?
