What would you get a newborn for Christmas?

My son will be 3 months on Christmas, and I’m already thinking of what type of toys to get him. I know I’m going to get him a lot more winter clothes and shoes but I want him to have toys too. Besides a rattle or a play mat, why could o get him? Helllppp?

I honestly wouldn’t get anything. My son will be almost 7 months by Christmas & if anything I’ll just get possibly a small soft toy as I have tons of clothes. At 3 months old they still don’t pay much attention to things. It’s a waste of money if you ask me.

My daughter will be 4 months and I'm mostly getting her clothes, but I'm also getting her this

I thought this was the niftiest darn thing haha. We hadn't bought her a play saucer yet so excited I discovered this for the holidays. There's not a whole lot you can get them this young other than mostly clothes. Books are always a good choice. Especially the kind with different textures or noises

Chewy toys. My daughter started chewing on everything right at 4 months so it was great to have things for her to chew on. She also really loved fake keys at that time (and still does at 19 months)

Mine will also be 3 months on Christmas. We're not getting her anything. Simply because she doesn't need anything. We're still trying to cycle through all the clothes she has without adding more 😂

You can do some research, there is toys ideal to have in the first few months. Babies are a little more alert at 3 months and maybe something colorful with noises/lights will interest him. I wouldn’t spend too much tho u til you figure out exactly what he likes later on.

Nothing. They don’t understand what’s going on so the present would really be for you. If anything I’d just shop for clothes during the holiday sales.

My first was 3 months old for her first Christmas and we didn't get her anything. I didn't really see a point. My second will be 5 months old this Christmas and I'm getting her one little toy.
