How long did people on here question their gender identity?

I started questioning my gender a little less than a year ago and it feels like I’m rushing things because I already feel like I’ve figured it out so I was wondering how long other people questioned their gender identity before deciding on one and coming to terms with their identity. Sorry if I’m describing this really badly!! Also, feel free to tell stories if you’d like!!

I have never question or “decided” as you say my gender, my parents did that for me when they gave birth to baby girl. I am very happy and comfortable with my identity.

I was questioning for a year and I came up with a label but I’m questioning again which is completely fine if you find something that suits your super quick that’s amazing great for you but if you’re someone that takes a little longer to figure it out or feels one thing then realise that it doesn’t make them feel comfy or want to think deeper and explore gender more that’s fine too I thought I was FTM but now I’m coming to realise I’m more non-binary while still being very masculine 😊(Sorry if it doesn’t make sense I’m really dyslexic I’m so lucky my phone has auto correct)

Questioned it, but I'm cis. Turns out lesbians sometimes feel weird about gender cause we don't fit into the mainstream definition of womanhood or some shit. But like, turns out I'm comfortable being a woman, and some lesbians feel more comfortable being non-binary and identifying as such. It's all cool tbh

I’m still questioning it myself but from my own experience and talk about it with others sometimes you realised something that’s been there the whole time. This could be I’m basically one of the guys or just not understand what gender is and it’s important.

in my experience through talking to my trans family and friends, it was almost always 1. Start experiencing gender dysphoria, 2. Hope it goes away, 3. Go to a Docter and get diagnosed with gender dysphoria, 4. Start social transitioning. From what I see that takes 1-3 years. Most of my trans friends started socially transitioning in their teens and medically transition after 18.
