It also depends on how much you weigh before pregnancy whether it’s advised or not. 
I was 52.5kgs at 7 weeks, and at 15w 52.3kgs and 17w (with 12 days between last weigh in) I was 51.4kgs. 
Based on my height and the weight it becomes a concern that I’m not gaining at all. 
I’m meant to gain double than what a heavier weighted person is to gain.
