I always thought that I would find out the gender and never understood how people waited. Buttttt, a friend of mine is pregnant and due in Dec. They didn’t find out the gender and she said it was because “there aren’t many moments in life where you get to be genuinely surprised and experience something like that”. Gender reveal party is one thing, but finding out the gender as the baby is laid on your chest is a completely different experience. We haven’t quite decided yet what we’ll do, but there was something so beautiful about her reasoning!

We plan on keeping it a surprise until baby is born but we already have a girl and a boy so this will be a tie breaker for us
