Skyla IUD side effects? Tips?

I got my first IUD (Skyla) a month ago. I went with this one because my Obgyn said it was ideal for women who haven’t had a baby, plus at my age I rather do a shorter commitment (3 years) than a 5 or 10 year one. Getting it was painful and the idea of having it removed sounds just as painful.

Prior to getting my IUD, I hadn’t had a period in months. I’ve always been irregular and when I did bleed, it was heavy AF.

A couple of weeks after getting Skyla, I noticed that my jeans were tighter, and I was moody... then I got my period!! For the first time ever it was what I imagine a regular period is supposed to be. I was thrilled.

I’ve now been bleeding for about 2 weeks and I’ve been breaking out like crazy. I had super clear skin before but now I have all these tiny pimples. I’m not sure if these are just here for the duration of the period or what. I’m nervous.

Also my boobs feel FULLER. I’m not sure if this is just a period thing or if it’s permanent. They also don’t hurt - they used to hurt a lot around that time or the month.

Do you have any similar side effects? Any tips for battling the acne and weight gain?
