Rugs in the nursery?

So most everyone has a rug in their nursery and I think it looks really nice. My problem is my husband is concerned that it may be a trip hazard. What do y'all think? Has this been an issue for anyone?

Nope never tripped ever. Tell him that it brings the room together and it’s a necessary 😂😂 that’s cute that he’s worried about that though!

We would if we didn’t have a carpeted bedroom.

We got an indoor/outdoor rug from lowes for about $50.  You can sweep or vacuum it, wash it with water, and it lays very flat.  It is slippery on hardwood so you need a grippy pad under it. 
It isn't soft of lay baby on but it feels clean, so you can out blankies and pillows on it to play

I have one in all of the main rooms. We have wood floors and it’s cold 9months out of the year so makes getting up bareable I’ve never tripped

I have one in my sons room. Only hazard with it in my opinion is our cats 😂 put it in his room in the morning and by the end of the day they have it all across the house. 😂 my son likes to play with his toys on it now
