Would you be a little offended if the friends in your group of friends consistently don't hire you? (READ BELOW)

For example, hiring a cake decorator when YOU decorate cakes. Hiring a photographer when YOU do photography. Hiring someone who makes tshirts when YOU make tshirts. 
And they talk about it all the time and I'm sitting there like... uh I do it but you don't ask ME...

I obviously don’t know your work but the fact that you do all of those thjngs tell me it’s not professional more like a hobby, so maybe they just want a professional.

But you may not be as good at those things as the people they hire. Of course your friends should hype you up and help out your business by hiring you but they’re not required to and may know exactly your skills and they’re not interested in the way you do it. I wouldn’t take it to heart.

I wish they wouldn't hire me. I always feel obligated to say yes and it's just a hobby for me so I usually don't have much room to do an insane amount of cupcakes and a cake. It's always best to hire someone else. Avoids any possible tensions between friendships. They probably know that.

I wouldn’t feel offended, family and friends usually take advantage of your services and ask things they normally wouldn’t if it were someone else.

Absolutely not.  Friends can be some of the worst people to work for.  They expect you to say yes because they're your friends, they get more particular because they feel way more comfortable around you and then they expect some kind of discount because they're your friend.  Not to mention the reverse; when you hire your friend and they didn't do as good a job as what you were hoping but then you feel obligated to tell them it's fine because they are your friend and you don't want to hurt their feelings...

I wouldn’t be offended. I would never want to lose a friend over something like business stuff. I helped a friend get a job once and she was the worse and I almost lost my job because of her. I keep my business and personal life separate for that reason. If I owned any sort of company I wouldn’t want to work for my friends because you learn terrible things about them or it gets strained...

Depends on a lot of factors.
1. Maybe I’d want to keep my business and friends separate.
2. We might be friends but Maybe we are not that close that I can completely trust your skills.
3. Maybe its your hobby and I want my work to be done professionally by a professional who’s had plenty of experience in the field.
Lots of factors to consider.
