Boy name: phoenix. Crazy or perfect?

My husband and I have been dreaming up names for 3+ years. We agreed right away for the girls name Teagan. 
However we cannot agree on a boy name. I don’t want a basic name. I want something that means something. Teagan has a special meaning to me. He can only come up the most basic of name. I finally landed on one that I am absolutely opposed with!

We are pregnant with our miracle ivf baby and I love the meaning of Phoenix meaning rising from the ashes. Also we are huge potter heads so that’s a plus haha. 
Is this to crazy of a name?

Personally not a huge fan because of its ties to literature and history. Nouns as names tho have never been my thing. I think its not that bad tho. Name your baby what you prefer

That’s the name we’ve chosen. We decided before we even started trying, when we first go together we talked about what we’d name our son if we ever have one. Phoenix is the only name we could imagine giving to a baby boy. First born anyway. 6 years ttc and still waiting to grow our baby.
