Warning signs he’s abusive ??

What are some warning signs he’s verbally or emotionally abusive ?? Is my so name calling me stupid one of them? 
He’s not physically abusive but I’m wondering verbally and emotionally doesn’t feel equal and respectful like before! Thx for your help!

My father was verbally abusive as long as I knew him. Name calling was his favorite. I'd say it's a red flag.
