Why do you get your nails done?

So I don't bite then and because I think my nails look kind of ugly bare. I never feel like they're clean enough for some reason when I clean them often.

I do my own. My friend gets hers done because she struggles to grow them and it doesn’t look very professional to have bitten uneven nails

I feel so much more put together when I have a fresh manicure! I do give my nails a break for a couple months every once in awhile.

It's honestly the only thing I do for myself anymore because hair salons are outrageously expensive. $40 for a manicure a month is good for me, plus gel manicures are the only thing that keep my nails long and sturdy. I work retail and I get compliments all the time and have made "nail friends" lol

I just have to have mine done 🤷🏾‍♀️ lol. I've been getting my nails done on a regular basis since I was about 12 or 13. I'm 28 now lol. It is just something that started out as something my mom and I did together. Btw, I can't wait until my daughter is old enough so she and I can do things like that. It went on through middle school, high school, college, grad school, etc. Now, it's treated as my "Me Time". I am a self-employed mom so therefore I work full time from home while being a mother as well so every 2-3 weeks, my husband makes sure I get that time to myself to enjoy a mani and pedi. It's one of the MANY things he does to make sure I get time to myself.

I am a sahm. I get a pedicure every two weeks. Its my time to relax sans baby. My husband considers it money well spent.
