Would you stay with a man who wasn’t physically able to have children?

We would adopt or foster. I wouldn’t leave my husband because of male factor infertility. That’s insensitive. That whole “in sickness and in health” thing when you get married wasn’t just some empty words.

If we found out about it after marriage then probably..  but I wouldn’t knowingly start a Relationship with someone sterile.

When I said my vows I meant them. I would never leave my husband for any kind of illness. To leave him for something beyond his control would be to completely disregard and break my vows. 
My husband and I at one point thought we’d only go for adoption only to have a family of our own. His family has a history of early onset Alzheimer’s along with a few other mental disorders that are hereditary and not something we would be comfortable passing on to our children. I knew this prior to marrying him, but we ended up going through genetic counselling and somehow my husband managed to not get any of the genes. But had he ended up a carrier or if he ended up getting ill one day I’d never have left. Nor considered it.

My husband was sterile from meds he was on when we first started trying to get pregnant . Never one time did it cross my mind to leave him. There are other ways to have a family if a man can't get a woman pregnant. How would your friend feel if her husband left her if the roles were reversed

If children were a goal for us as a couple then there are more ways than 1 to have children these days. We could adopt or do artificial insemination if he felt comfortable to do that. If I was in that situation.. if he was everything else I wanted/needed then I'd do anything to have a family with him

I was told I would never be able to have children due to a medical condition. 
When my now husband and I were dating I told him about it and he still decided to marry me. 
He loved me any way. 
We’ve been married 6 years in April and have 3 kids now.

I will not leave my husband because of it. But if I knew before... I wouldn’t have married him. As awful as it sounds. It’s true.

If he was willing to adopt or do a sperm donor type thing then no I wouldn't leave him but I do want kids so if he wasn't willing to do other options then I would leave my SO is well aware that I want kids and we have had this conversation so he knows my feelings on it
