I have a friend who’s family treats him like shit, when he was in need of somewhere to stay due to his situation at home, they lied to him and took him in but tried to get him to move in with a complete stranger. Okay so now he lives with his girlfriend, who his family hates and wants to beat up her and her mother who is disabled. They only dislike her because of her past, (okay like everyone has a past most learn from it and become a better person). Which she did. Now my friend was to ask his family for stuff and btw he’s 17 1/2 about to turn 18, is asking his family for stuff because he’s too damn lazy to get a job or to go out and find one ☝🏾. Knowing that if they seen his girlfriend in town they would beat her up, knowing that they talk shit about her, and call her the N word to her face. Like if he loved her would he put her through this. Ik the girl she’s not making him choose between his family and herself but she doesn’t deserve this in my opinion.
