I was just curious about everyone’s experiences with IUDs? I’ve been thinking about getting one but I would just like to know if there are any harsh side effects with it? (vomiting, heavier periods, etc) I’m 17 and my mom never used BC because she didn’t think she could have children so she doesn’t really know much about it, she is okay with me getting it though. I read some things on Planned Parenthood’s website but I just wanted to see if I could get any additional info. I really only wanna get it because my periods are always heavy and my boyfriend and I are sick of buying condoms because they’re kinda expensive! 😒🤣 But we do want to be protected as well since we’re young.

I did read that the copper IUD does make periods heavier so I don’t think I’ll be getting that one. any info will be appreciated!!!
