I need help opening up to my parents about how much I love this man and that I’m in a long distance relationship with him. He usually lives in my area for the fall and stays 4 hours away during the summer.

But back to the story, I don’t know what to say to them. I want them to be supportive and understanding where I’m coming from and I want this relationship to work out. My parents are not overbearing but I feel like they have a daughter who doesn’t want to tell them anything because they’re too uncomfortable and I don’t want that. I want to able to tell my parents everything without felling that way.

What do I do? I’m 18 almost 19 if you’re wondering.
