I was with someone for 8 years who I don't think was ever going to marry me. I was scared that I made a huge mistake and would be alone forever. I met my future husband 3 months later. Been married now for a year and 3 months😁.

My biggest fear was wasting my time.. if the person I was with didn’t want the same future as I did, then I was wasting my time. 
You can say “but if you really love them, then it shouldn’t matter...” but it does matter. Because if it’s important to you, then it should be important to the person you love. If my husband had said he never wanted kids.. I’d have left him. It’s a waste of time to wait around hoping he’d change his mind.

I have been with my Husband for over 8 years now. We just got Married in September. He never wanted to get Married and to have children but I changed his mind. We are currently waiting to see if I'm pregnant or not.
