About two weeks ago I had a uti. My first UTI I’ve ever experienced in my life (worst thing ever). I had spotted twice and had cramps while having the UTI but thought maybe it was just due to having the UTI because one of the symptoms were blood.

My period was supposed to start 11/5, last Monday & has not started. I took a pregnancy test the Friday before my period and the day my period was supposed to start (we are TTC) but both came out negative but my question is, can a UTI make your period late? I don’t want to keep thinking theirs a chance I can be pregnant & end up with a BFN again but I’m also like “well maybe it just couldn’t read it because my levels were so low.” 😫 It’s very tempting & I just want to go buy more pregnancy tests but I can’t bring myself to do it either.

I know that it can set it back though but I thought generally it would only be a few days, but can it make it weeks late? I have period symptoms occasionally but they come and go.

When my period was supposed to start last Monday, I seriously thought it was going to start. I get this really bad stomach cramp/ache (which I got) but no blood followed it. That typically happens every time I have a period.

I am going to the OBGYN tomorrow, but I’m more upset at the fact I think I just produced a UTI instead of a baby last month (which frankly I’m not sure how it happened because I don’t drink a lot of sugary drinks like pop/juice anyways.) Just wanna say kudos to all the couples TTC because I know it’s going to get more stressful by the month. Especially since my periods late and it’s going to knock my whole schedule off & im going to have to restart trying to figure out my ovulation dates.
