Bfn/ is my dr insane?

So i couldnt take it anymore being over a week late and getting negative test results, so i called my doctor. She did a urine test which came out negative which i already knew would happen, and i asked for a blood test. She said there was no point bc a blood test is no different than a urine test. She did it anyhow and said they'd call tomorrow but not to expect anything. So then she says to come back next week if still no af....

Is my dr crazy or am i?
