How often do you call your midwife/OB?

My ankles have started swelling a little and I want to call my midwife, but I feel like I call once a week... I know I probably should call, but am embarrassed! Why am I like this??? I don’t want to bug them.

I haven’t ever called. I see my doctor every 4 weeks and just go in with questions. Anything else I ask on here or family/friends. My ankles have been swelling for weeks already 😭 I’m 23 wks today! I was told as long as it’s not medical concerning (light headed, dizzy, numbness) it’s normal. Every pregnancy is different and everyone is different.

I fortunately haven't had anything to call about,  but if I did,  I would.  It's their job,  I'm sure you're not bothering them, and they're happy to put your mind at rest :)

I call all the time. Im a FTM this is all new to me! 
Drs are there to help that’s what we pay them for. Definitely call if it’ll help put you at ease

I rarely call now, but I haven’t had anything strange happen lately. I would definitely call if you have questions! It will give you some peace of mind and you deserve that!

With my first I called more so closer to the end if I had pain or a concern about baby (not feeling baby move enough)

I haven’t ever called either but you’re paying them a buttload or money (I’m sure or your insurance) so I would call whenever I felt like it if I were you.

Never. Nothing has worried me this pregnancy, and everything that might worry someone I know is completely normal. 
They have their call line for people to call with questions, they’re used to bunches of calls.

I’ve never called. Just go to my scheduled appointments.. if I felt like I needed to though, I would.

Never be afraid to call!  It's better to call about something silly than not call about something that turns out to be important.
