Surgery scheduled

My surgery to remove the fibroids within my uterus has been scheduled for Monday, 11/19. I’m so excited to get this over with. I had my mammogram last Friday after they stated they thought they saw something in my left breast. Everything was fine there and they found absolutely nothing, thank goodness. Not sure why they even decided to look at my breasts previously during my recent CT scan while I was on my period, but they scheduled the mammogram as a precautionary. I’ll still have one remaining surgery to remove an umbilical hernia caused by pressure on my abdominal cavity from these dang fibroids, but I have to wait until December 4th to meet with the general surgeon. I was hoping to having it all done the same day but no such luck. Funny thing is that I was reading up on side effects from umbilical hernia repair and it stated pregnancy was a side effect. I thought to myself, damn that’s exactly what I need, lol. Doesn’t hurt to have wishful thinking. 😉
