Steven Avery- Innocent or Guilty ?

I’m late on this topic but me and my husband just finished season 1 of Making of a Murderer on Netflix and we love it. We’re going to start season 2 tonight ! We think he was set up and is innocent ! I’m curious to think what everyone else’s opinion is who saw it.

Don’t go entirely based off the documentary. It’s extremely biased. Do your own research. Many true crime experts totally refute the legitimacy of that show.

Not enough evidence to convict Steven Avery and 10000% not enough for Brendan. Brendan needs released ASAP. Steven should get a new trial. 
I feel horrible for his poor family. Every time I saw Alan or Dolores, I wanted to cry

After Pt 2, innocent. I dont see how anyone can say guity after Pt 2, (I said guilty after Pt 1). Biased or not his new lawyer clearly proves he did not kill her.

Guilty, but some if the evidence was planted to make him look more guilty. I think Brendan was innocent.

I don't want to say he's innocent because I'm not sure he is. However, all the "evidence" against him doesn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he's guilty. Which is the whole point of the trial. 
Brendan however was totally coerced into that confession and should be released ASAP. Even if he knew or did something, the cops didn't conduct themselves properly and totally lead and fed him things in that interview.

I lean toward him being innocent. I think the police and prosecution spent so much time setting him up and he could have done it, but they faked everything so they don’t know. She didn’t die the way they said she did, I’m 100% convinced of that, so he still could have done it, but no one knows until they actually figure out how the crime happened and gather the real evidence. He should get a new trial, if his defense had been better, I definitely would have had a reasonable doubt and likely the jury would have too. Doesn’t mean he’s innocent, but with the info given in the documentary he shouldn’t have been convicted, but the jury was working with what they were told. It’s too fishy that they didn’t look into anyone else, usually it’s a person close to you and it seems those people were never suspects. He just doesn’t have a motive, they are saying him being falsely accused the first time made him want to kill. However, 18 years in jail as an innocent man, finally free, about to be a multi-millionaire and throws it away to kill a stranger? Then doesn’t even cover it up? He may not be a smart man, but if you were in prison for 18 years with other convicts, you’d think he’d have planned it better and done it after he won all the money so he could move.
