Someone asked where there thank you note was??

My MIL sent my son and baby on the way gifts in the mail. This was literally on Thursday last week. I went to the hospital on Friday for low amniotic fluid and had to stay overnight and left on Saturday. She literally asked my husband last night why our son (he’s 5) hasn’t sent her a thank you card. She said we need to be teaching him manners and to write a thank you card when someone gives him a gift. Am I wrong for being completely enraged that she said this? Like I got her gift 4 days ago and sent her a thank you text and was obviously going to send a card within the next 1-2 weeks. Is it just me? Who asks for someone to send a thank you card?
