Update with screenshots. Do parents have a right (not legal right) to see their grandchildren?

My mother thinks I "took everything" from her because I don't "let her" see my son enough. We do live in the same state. She has seen him over 10 times in the past year and a half. She is verbally abusive to me so I have tried cutting her out of my life a couple times but when we start talking again she emotionally abuses me by saying I ruined her life.

Stop that ugly cycle now. Protect your little one from that volatile relationship and cut her out if it means everyone is better off. No one has rights to your child except you and your so and if her being cut off isn't enough to apologize and be polite, that shows how much she actually cares. Abusers rarely take responsibility and always justify and deflect...be ready for it and stand your ground. Don't let her blame you(another classic abuser move).

Nope!!! My mother in law will never see my children. If she ant treat me right I doubt her ability to be around my children.

NO WAY!!! I don’t have a relationship with my mom and she even went to the extent of trying to tell me she was going to take me to court for “grandparents law” which is only valid when a parent is no longer living. And it doesn’t even exist in my state. She then proceeded to tell me she was going to show up at my house with the cops and demand to see my kids. I very clearly had to remind her the are MY kids NOT hers. Grandparents don’t have any rights. Protect your babies. I know for me, it’s the best thing I could have done for my kids.

No! And you have to make the best choices for your own mental and emotional health.  Sometimes, even when it’s family you have to move on from toxic relationships.  Don’t ever be shamed into thinking someone is owed something from you when they’re not bringing positives to the relationship.

She's abusive. I would just cut her off.
She's allowed her opinion, but had my mom lived today I'm pretty sure I would have cut her off because she drained me and my kid would have other wonderful people to be around so it's no issue.

Grandparents do not have legal rights in the ways that parents of children do. You are not legally obligated to allow her to visit with your son. If she is verbally abusive, I would suggest at least a temporary order of protection, which you can go though local courts to obtain. You and your son do not need to be exposed to her abusive behavior, verbal or otherwise. A temporary order of protection would stop her from communicating with you or your son in any form, and she would have to maintain a certain distance from where you live, work, or go to school. Dependent on the severity of the behavior, this may not be necessary, but do not allow her to continue to behave this way by continuing to "try talking to her again". Sometimes it is better to not maintain those relationships that compromise our emotional well-being. Good luck to you!

Grandparents can go to court and request access to their grandchildren. Would she do that? 
You can also get a restraining order denying them access to you and the children.
