When did you start planning your little ones first birthday?

My son turns one on feb 15th and I’ve started planning already lol. I’ve got decorations picked, activities planned, ideas for location, food figured out, invite list gone over twice.

I know I’m getting ahead of myself but I’m a planner. It seems like in my family you gotta plan things early or people won’t be able to get off work if needed. I’m planning for a Saturday party with all the family. Friday, his actual birthday, we will be doing a small intimate party with just us and immediate family. His father and I took the day off so we can go do something fun with him alone.

Has anyone else started planning baby’s party basically 4 months early? 😂
