Yesterday I started spotting and cramping (not as bad as usual) so I assumed this was my period getting ready to start after being 3 weeks late. I did notice that the color and consistency was a little different (rusty red/pink) and seemed that it was more cervical mucous than it was actual blood. It would start then stop throughout the day and still hasn't gotten any heavier. It's just enough to where I have to use a pad but it's not enough to fill it even after 8 hours. I have been getting nausea and abdominal discomfort as well and have thrown up twice this morning.my cervix is still high and soft when it always drops and becomes very hard and semi open when AF comes :/

What could be causing this? Could I call a doctor's office and speak to an obgyn about it? I'm just a little sketched out right now.
