How do you measure between feeding times ?

Start the clock when LO is drinking the bottle

Or

You start the time once LO is done drinking bottle

For example: I start the clock once my little girl is done with her bottle then three hours go by she gets another and the clock stops until she’s done with her bottle, is this correct or no??

I feel like I remember the doc saying start time to start time but I can’t remember
