My sweet little boy was born 2 weeks ago and I’m EBF. I’m having a real hard time with leaking as I soak through my nipple covers everyday. The lactation consultant in the hospital told me not to pump yet as it could mess with my supply, but hand expressing is not helping with the engorgement or the leaking. I’ve been manually pumping occasionally to help, but I’m scared based on the information from the lactation consultant. When should I start pumping? I’m not going back to work for another 10 weeks.
