Newborn Diapers???

Question

This may sound like a stupid question but exactly how many newborn diapers do I need? I mostly have size 1s and 2s. It’s been 15 years since I’ve had a newborn and I honestly do not remember how long my daughter stayed in the tiny diapers.

Depends on the size of the baby at birth. My first (9lbs 3oz) was in them for a couple weeks. My second (10lbs)  went straight to size 1

I have one big box of newborn and the rest sizes 1 and 2 but babies grow so fast so I’m sure you may only need 1 box of newborn diapers. But you never know 💕

I received 2 small packs at my baby shower I’ll keep and use and my husband and I bought 2 boxes and kept the receipts so we can exchange them if necessary.

With my first it was about a month. He was 8lbs 8.5oz. But this time I got about 120 from my shower and will buy 1s after that. Most brands size 1 is cheaper anyway.

I’ve gotten about 4 packs of them. We don’t plan on buying any more than that until we need them. They’re only in newborns for a couple of weeks.

I have had 8 and 9 lb babies, I usually stick with one big box of newborn diapers (roughly 150-180 I think?) and that works for us. You could always just get one big box and then when you're getting a little low, try a size 1 and decide if you want more in newborn or if you're ready to size up 🤷

My first was in newborns for a month she weighed 6.13. For this baby I bought one huge box that has 200 diapers in newborn size. If I need more I’ll get them then
