This is my first pregnancy so I'm not familiar with how the payment usually works. My doctors office just gave me a paper explaining the estimated total expenses, which were almost $4000, and they want me to start paying them $500 a month starting at my next appointment, when I'll be 12 weeks, and they want the full payment by the time I'm 7 months. Is this normal? Also, I know it's different depending on where you live (I'm in nc) but does anyone know about how much the hospital charges on top of that? Just trying to get an idea!
