Alright y’all, I’m only 7 weeks pregnant, but I’m telling my boss this evening over dinner that I’m pregnant...again. 😂

We’re close friends, but she’s still my boss so I’m nervous about what she might think. My job is protected, and I am valued there, so I’m not worried about potentially being let go or anything.

I feel the need to tell her now because I will have to leave my current maternity leave early in order to return to work for 600 hrs before this baby is born in order to be eligible for my next maternity leave. Which means I’ll have to return around February.

My question is....since we’re good friends and I’ve decided to tell her early, (Last time I waited till 12 weeks and she was pretty hurt.), does anyone have a funny way to tell her at dinner? I don’t want it to be sappy and meaningful...I want it to be funny...that’s kind of our relationship. Any ideas?
