Lube and breast feeding??

I’m 11 days pp from a csection and my husband and I decided to do anal. We used ky warming liquid and it said not to use while breast feeding. Does anyone know why? It doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything

The thought of this made me want to throw up. You just had major surgery. Be gentle to your body. It just went through so much!!

That’s a bad idea. Just cause it’s not vaginal doesn’t mean you won’t get an infection 11 DAYS PP. Can’t. I didn’t let my SO even try to touch me after my surgery. I wouldn’t risk that. Sex isn’t worth it. He can wait 6 weeks.

It is your body and your choice but I would really wait until a doctor gives you full clearance before having sex whether it is anally or vaginally, you've had major surgery and need to heal, let alone the fact your uterus is practically a massive open wound right now.

Parabens – Parabens (methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben) are used as synthetic preservatives; however, when used in lubricants they can be absorbed into the body. They disrupt hormones as they mimic estrogen and get concentrated in the breasts and ovaries.

Manufacturers love them because they are cheap and effectively add shelf life to a product.Although the body breaks them down quickly, these chemicals are detected in urine, breast milk, and blood. Women are particularly at risk because they are more heavily exposed to the parabens that are so common in cosmetics. 
Since most mainstream lubricants contain nasty chemicals, they can damage your genitals and upset a woman’s internal pH and beneficial microbes, making her more prone to harmful organisms.
“Women should be aware that there is mounting evidence that some products that are inserted vaginally can cause damage to vaginal tissues, and can increase the risk of bacterial vaginosis and sexually transmitted infections, such as herpes, chlamydia and HIV,” says Joelle Brown of the University of California, Los Angeles, who was the lead author on a study about personal lubricants.
Johnson & Johnson and Trojan continue to dominate the personal lubricant market. Meanwhile, but their top selling products, like Johnson & Johnson’s KY Jelly can cause rectal damage and erode vaginas tissue.
To be honest, I'd skip the lube and opt for olive or coconut oil. That's what we use and the results are more pleasing than lube for sure!!😀

TLDR: the ingredients glycerin and parabens have been linked to yeast infections, irritation and (inconclusively) linked to cancer, States not only can the chemicals absorb into your body, it can throw off your estrogen, which could mess with your supply. (May be linked to deterioration of vaginal tissue.- I did not find another article confirming this.) It does state that the chemicals in it have been found in breastmilk...... internet answer
