TTC via Basal Body Temp method?

Who here has tried to conceive using the Basal body temperature method? If you had success with this method how long did it take you to conceive from when you started trying?

I started checking my bbt orally almost a year ago. No baby yet but it has given me a fairly clear idea of when I ovulated every month and when AF is about to arrive. A few months after starting bbt I started using it with OPK strips. The OPK will let you know you are about to ovulate and the bbt will confirm you actually did.

I did with #1. This time I am ttc I noted my temps are way different and it helped me to get on progesterone with my doctor within 3 cycles bc something is off. So I think it certificate can help to pinpoint day of ovulation but also it can help to assess is your hormones are functioning properly
