My pit bull has had these scab looking things on his back for months and I can’t really afford to take him to the vet. What can I put on him? 😣

Sensitive skin shampoo. Get an oatmeal spray or like coconut oil for his skin, rub that in after a bath. Try not to let him scratch

If it’s scaly , dry , itchy , and hair loss he has mange mites (sarcoptic mange)
It’s quite easy to get rid of but takes time
