What is a good age for ear piercing

I was 11 when my mom took me but thinking doing it sooner wouldn't be too bad

We are going to wait to get our girls ears pierced whenever they decide they want them. If they ever decide they do want them.

I was around 8 I think. Maybe younger. It was so exciting getting to pick out my earrings and I felt so mature! It was a coming of age milestone of sorts. The mix of fear and excitement. Loved it. You're old enough to take care of then yourself by that age

I got them when I was super young ... idk why ppl are so against it. I’m not traumatized lol and I’m glad I didn’t have to go through the pain or at least remember it

I feel like young(as in 2-3 years old) is a good age. My mom got mine done before I could ever remember and I’m glad she did. I can go months and months without wearing earrings if I want and when I do decide to wear earrings the hole is still open and I don’t have to go get them pierced again

I took my daughter at 7 months. No crying. If she wants to take them out when she’s older then that’s cool, if not it’s cool too 😃

I think its good to get it done when you’re a baby, that way there isn’t really any pain. Also, if the child later doesn’t like them, they can just take them out. It’s always good to have that option available because some kids might want their ears pierced but don’t want to because of the pain.

I got mine done when I was 13 but it was such a hassle since i played soccer I wish my parents had gotten them done for me when I was a baby

I would do it when they are younger so they don’t fuss as much but at the same Ike I would wait until they are old enough to know that they want a piercing
