In less than 2 weeks, I had to quit a job(I had been there over 2 years and only called in one time) because the insurance was astronomically expensive for our family. And they didn't even try to stop me or work with me. Basically they said if I can't be full time I need to resign. So I was lucky enough to have a part time job in the wings just incase and since I've been there I got 2 dollars more and today I got a 2 dollar raise. Its amazing to feel like I am appreciated. I also get to use my brain again so I'm feeling better already. Its amazing to think a job can also be an abusive relationship to some extent, and you don't realize how much it is taking from you.
