How do y’all get over a breakup?

How do y’all get over a breakup when you thought he was the love of your life? How do you get over someone who means and meant to much to you, but unfortunately he didn’t feel the same? 
Asking for a friend 👀.....

One moment, then one day at a time. 
No contact can be a good idea for a while. 
Spend time with friends, let yourself be sad a while, then get distracted and involved in things you enjoy or always wanted to do & try.
Take advantage in being single, because there's a lot to enjoy about it.
List your priorities, start a new life plan. 
I've had to leave someone I was going to marry, and it is definitely hard.

I personally have no experience with a breakup with someone I believed to be the love of my life, but I would imagine that the only way is to take time away from relationships until you have fully healed and use this time for self care and learning to love yourself. It’s better if you cut all contact with this person even if yous are still friends ( in which case you should sit down with them and tell them that u need to cut contact in order for u to get over them). I wish your friend the best of look and just let them know that this will take time, but it will be worth it in the end so just hold on :)

It’s sometimes hard and it definitely takes time... but the best advise I got was to live more and travel! 
My break up was about 7 months ago and let me tell you I felt like my world ended...
Everyone tells you to get over it or him.. but it’s always easier said then done. But to me, It really was like a new beginning! Like your second time around to do the things you really want to do or get done and experience life to the fullest. So I have travel to new places, gone to concerts by my self and met some new friends and it’s just been great. 
Being alone is brutal but once she finds happiness in her solitude she will be fine. Everyday is a new day, she will get over it before she knows just tell her not to dwell on it. To find a hobby, to travel, to do the things that she loves and makes her happy. She will eventually get thru this break up!
