My husband and I are in complete shock. We lost our first baby in May and have not been able to conceive since, our baby’s original due date was Nov 7th. I attended my first specialist appointment on Monday 12th Nov to be prescribed Clomid and had to get some blood tests first. The Hospital called me on Wednesday 14th Nov to say they detected HCG in my blood results so therefore I am pregnant, exactly a week after my first baby’s due date and the week from hell! I was so shocked I started sobbing and the nurse asked me if I was ok. I asked if the HCG levels and the date conceived match up (I kept getting negative OPK’s so I didn’t believe it was possible) and we’re all good!

Waiting for my 6 week appointment to go and get scans. Feeling so blessed after a horrible year.
