Baby’s head down low in pelvis— bedrest?

Brittany

Went to an ultrasound today, it was ordered by my doc because I had a kidney infection a couple months ago and she just wanted to make sure he’s still growing properly and everything. The doc didn’t perform the ultrasound, a tech did, and he said the doc will share the results with me tomorrow (but I can’t wait that long). He told me everything looks fine though, that he’s measuring to date (31 weeks). But he did mention the baby’s head was very low. He actually had to adjust the bed so I was laying downwards so he could get a pic on the ultrasound.

Just wondering, I’m not super worried, but could this affect my cervix? I did a little research and some women who carried very low ended up on bedrest to prevent pre-term labor.
